CASTELLATION CLADDING has become a popular architectural trend in both commercial projects and stylish contemporary residential designs. On a façade, it achieves a look of parallel castellated timber battens with a narrow shadowland, or rebate, between each one. Our 3-rib and 5-rib castellation cladding panels are available in a range of modern colours which provides a multidimensional, visually appealing addition to any building project. Our composite products at NewTechWood are extremely low-maintenance thanks to the special coating is applied during the production of each board. However, some care and maintenance is recommended. To ensure your composite timber is always looking in a premium condition, we encourage you to clean as necessary.

We’re still completing our new home & are yet to install the roof & balustrade on our front deck, but our little back deck area is great! Great for non-professional ‘handy-people’ – NewTechWood is very simple to install, takes the guess work out of the construction process, and doesn’t require any maintenance. Building in a BAL25 area limited what we are able to install, and NewTechWood ticked all the boxes. It is essential that installation is completed per the installation guidelines, using the recommended secret fix clip systems and joist spacing to ensure your new deck, fence, screening, or cladding is installed perfectly.

For commercial projects, a 10-year commercial Warranty applies.
Does NewTechWood cladding meet australian building standards?
Whether or not any building product meets an Australian building standard depends on the application and the class of building on which it is being installed. For this reason, it is best to consult your architect, or planning officer at your local authority, for the particular standard(s) you need to meet. This will determine how it is to be constructed/used to ensure it meets the required standard(s).
What fire rating / energy efficiency rating does NewTechWood cladding have?
BAL fire ratings and energy efficiency ratings are not absolute values specific to a particular product but apply to the way in which the product is installed, or the system of building in which the product is an element. NewTechWood cladding does not have a BAL bushfire rating. Refer to your building engineer as you may not require a BAL rating and may be able to be used with an engineered, fire-rated system in place.
